1 Corinthians 12:12-26
Today we have too many denominations to count, each with its own unique take on Christianity. Yet we have one critical element in common: we are part of the body of Christ, and we all share the same Holy Spirit within us. It’s not up to us to decide who among us is least or most important. In fact, as Paul says later in this chapter, “some of the parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary.” God decides how the pieces fall into place. Our job is simply to care for one another.
Today, pray for the wisdom and insight to see beyond theological or denominational details to the bigger picture of Christ’s body, His church. Ask God to guide you in your specific role in furthering His kingdom on Earth.
