May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:20-21
Full Text: Hebrews 13:15-21
God constantly works for us, with us and in us, even when we are not aware of His presence in our lives. In His son Jesus, God has given us a Shepherd who guides us through the peaks and valleys of daily life. What we don’t often see or realize is that the Shepherd is working on our insides as well, occupying our hearts and molding us into people who please the Lord. As our Shepherd, Jesus guides our actions and our hearts. Our role is simple: we only need to be open to Him, that He may change us from within.
Is your heart open to Jesus’ shepherding? Look closely at your inner state today: are you allowing Jesus to guide your actions and your heart?
