How Big is God's Love?
I saw this poster awhile ago on another blog. Read more about it here.
Then today I ran across this quote:
No abyss of evil can hide from [Jesus] through whom the world is reconciled with God. But the abyss of God's love encompasses even the most abysmal godlessness of the world.- Dietrich Bonhoeffer
Meditations on the Cross
and this Bible verse:
For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. Indeed, rarely will anyone die for a righteous person--though perhaps for a good person someone might actually dare to die. But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us. - Romans 5:6-8
... and they all just seem to go together.
What do you think? How big is God's love? Just something to think about on a Tuesday afternoon.
