USE it on Tuesday.

This week's message was about Hope. Hope is one of the greatest - if not the greatest - thing that we have as followers of Christ. If you missed it, click here to listen to this week's sermon.
This week spend some time thinking about what your definition of hope is. Is it about spending eternity with God - or is your definition expending to mean something for living life today and into eternity. Think about these three definitions of hope and see what they bring to your life:
1. Hope is the confidence in an eternity with God.(read 1 Peter 1:3-4)
2. Hope means God's power of protection for life today. (read 1 Peter 1:5-6)
3. Hope means that the genuineness of our faith is tested and perfected. (read 1 Peter 1:7-9)

Want to dig deeper into what hope means? Try one or two of these ideas. Read Romans Chapter 5 (2 minutes). Watch the movie - Hope Floats, Castaway, or The Shawshenk Redemption (2 hours). Or pick up a good book - The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis (5 hours) or The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck (10 hours).
