What was Jesus most afraid of?

I just read this in a devotion that comes to my inbox every morning. (You can sign up here) It’s a recounting of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s last sermon and his treatment of the story of the Good Samaritan.
In his last sermon, although he makes several biblical references, the passage he highlights is the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke. He brought it up as he encouraged his listeners to develop what he called "a kind of dangerous unselfishness.” When he asked why the priest and the Levite didn’t stop to help, King suggested they were afraid. This is what Dr. King said next, “And so the first question that the Levite asked was, ‘If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?’ But then the Good Samaritan came by. And he reverses the question, ‘If I do not stop to help this man, what will happen to him?’”
I’ve never thought of the Good Samaritan story this way before, but it’s the kind of fundamental question I can hang on to when I make a decision about whether or not to serve another person. What will I be most afraid of? What will happen to me if I do help, or what will happen to this person if I don't? And then I have to ask myself, "Which was Jesus most afraid of?"
